Siam Horolog · Solutions
Three Services, One Standard of Care
From a routine battery change to a full complication overhaul, each service is handled with the same methodical attention. Pricing is clear before any work begins.
Methodology
How the Workshop Approaches Each Service
Every watch that arrives at Siam Horolog goes through the same opening sequence regardless of the service requested: an examination under the loupe, a note of its condition, and a conversation with the owner about what they have observed. Only after this assessment does the work begin.
The three services offered — battery and gasket replacement, full movement overhaul, and chronograph and complication service — each represent a distinct level of bench time and complexity. The scope of each is described in detail below. Where a watch falls between tiers, the appropriate service is discussed with the owner before any commitment is made.
Watch is examined and condition noted in writing
Service scope and pricing confirmed with owner
Work completed; owner contacted if anything unexpected arises

- Crown and case-back gasket replacement
- Water resistance test (where applicable)
- Visual inspection with written notes
Turnaround: Same-day for standard models; overnight if preferred

Full Service Overhaul
A complete service appropriate for mechanical watches that have not been opened in five to eight years. The movement is disassembled, parts are cleaned in a closed solvent system, worn springs and gaskets are replaced with manufacturer-grade alternatives, and the assembled movement is regulated on a timing machine. Cases are pressure-tested where applicable. Each watch is logged with timing readings before and after the work, and the report is shared with the owner for their own records.
What Is Included
- Full movement disassembly
- Ultrasonic cleaning in closed solvent system
- Manufacturer-grade springs and gaskets replaced
- Timing machine regulation (multi-position)
- Case pressure test (where applicable)
- Written timing report before and after
Turnaround: 10–14 working days

Each watch is observed across at least seven days to confirm the complications operate as the maker intended before the timepiece is returned.
What Is Included
- Full movement service (as above)
- Chronograph clutch and column wheel adjustment
- Calendar and moon-phase mechanism serviced
- Pusher and crown action and seal check
- Minimum seven-day post-assembly observation
